Episode 3 South Side of Chicago

This was the episode where for the 1st time I had everyone that I know fear for my life. Like everyone else that watched mainstream media I had the impression that the South Side of Chicago was nothing but violence and mayhem. How wrong I was, everywhere I went I was greeted with smiles. I am not denying that gang violence is an issue here but when you dig deeper and discover the history, culture, music and food here you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was. My proudest moment was following in the footsteps of the late Anthony Bourdain and visiting Calumet Fisheries.
